'Stranger Things' EP Says Season 4 Is 'Bigger Than Ever' & 'Coming Soon'

The wait may finally be coming to an end soon!

Shawn Levy, executive producer of Stranger Things, just gave an update on the long-awaited fourth season of the hit Netflix series.

The season was of course delayed quite a bit due to the pandemic, and fans have been waiting for what feels like forever.

“To state the incredibly obvious, it’s been way, way, way, way too long, and it’s coming,” Shawn told Variety.

“I shot in Lithuania right before the pandemic. We have filmed in Georgia, Lithuania and New Mexico, so suffice to say Season 4 is sprawling,” he added. “It’s visually and narratively very ambitious, much more ambitious than the prior three seasons.”

“The delay is due in large measure to COVID and the pace at which we have to work to do so safely, but it also happens to be the season that we chose to go much bigger. It’s the scale of this season and the multi-settings of Season 4,” Shawn continued.

He finally said, “It’s coming soon enough. And as for when exactly that will be announced — quite soon.” CAN’T WAIT!!!

Back in June, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer and more were seen filming scenes for the season in Atlanta. Check out those photos here!
