“We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow – Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!! Can’t wait to watch you both!” USA Gymnastics shared on Twitter on Monday (August 2).

Over the past week, Simone has withdrawn from multiple competitions to focus on her mental health. Those comps include all-around, vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. Balance beam is her final chance to medal.

Simone has one silver medal at the Tokyo Olypmics, from the team event. Sunisa won her first gold in the All-around, plus silver in team, and bronze in uneven bars.
