Aly Raisman follows behind with six medals, with Nastia Liukin and Mary Lou Retton at five each. Shawn Johnson East has four Olympic medals and Gabby Douglas has three.

Earlier this year, Simone became a seven-time all-around US Gymnastics champion. Between Olympic and World Championships, she is also tied as the most decorated gymnast of all time with 32 medals, alongside Larisa Latynina of Soviet Union.
