Melissa Benoist & 'Supergirl' Cast Mark The End of Filming On Final Season

That’s a wrap on Supergirl – for good…

Melissa Benoist shared a short and sweet message on Instagram after filming her final scenes for the CW series.

The 32-year-old actress and her co-stars wrapped filming on the show’s sixth and final season last Friday (August 6) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“thank you for an incredible 6 years—the cast who became family, everyone who worked on the show, all of you who watched us week after week ♥️♥️♥️ that’s a wrap on @supergirlcw,” Melissa shared on her Instagram, along with a photo with Chyler Leigh and David Harewood.

David also shared his own post, writing, “6 incredible years with these two incredible people. What a joy to go to work with them. Thank you all for an amazing ride, I’ve loved playing the Martian Manhunter for you. Who knows, maybe I’ll get to suit up again someday. #MartianManhunter”

“That’s a series wrap on @supergirlcw thank you to all the amazing cast and crew. It was the ride of a lifetime. Even though yesterday was our last day, it still doesn’t really feel like it’s over yet because the back half of our season still has to air. So get ready for some kick-ass episodes and an ending you’re all going to love. El Myarah💜💙💚💛🤍❤️,” Jesse Rath added on his account.

In case you missed it, the cast was recently seen on set all together, in full superhero costume filming for the upcoming finale.

Supergirl will return with it’s final episodes on The CW on Tuesday, August 24th.
