Ashley Tisdale Reveals Why She Would Not Play Sharpay Evans Ever Again

Ashley Tisdale is opening up about hanging up her Sharpay Evans character.

The 36-year-old actress and producer starred as the character in four movies – High School Musical 1-3 and the spinoff Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.

In a new interview, Ashley revealed that she wouldn’t ever be playing her again…

“No… I just feel like I wouldn’t be able to really do that again and give it justice,” she told ET. “You know what I’m saying? I think at that moment in time, I was very unaware of myself and my surroundings, and I feel like that’s a big part of Sharpay. She is just not really aware, and so as I grew up and became more aware, I think that it’s just something that it wouldn’t be the same.”

“It’s so good, and it’s like, for me, I would hate to ruin something that is perfect for that moment, and yeah, I don’t think I could go back to it,” Ashley added.

Earlier this year, Ashley shared that one thing she wouldn’t be doing with her daughter Jupiter is watching any High School Musical movies with her.
