OlderDemi Lovato Debuts 'Melon Cake' Music Video On Their Birthday - Watch Now!
Demi Lovato is celebrating their 29th birthday with a brand new music video!
The entertainer debuted the official video for “Melon Cake,” exclusively on Facebook.
Demi also shared a behind-the-scenes of the making of the video, which exclusively premiered on IGTV.

“The song is me saying goodbye to melon cake,” Demi shared. “It was a big step for me, and I wanted to celebrate it.”
If you didn’t know, for years, Demi was only able to eat watermelon “cakes” for their birthday, in order to avoid gaining weight.
“I made this song to kind of stand up for myself and against my inner insecure feelings that I had when I used to want to eat birthday cake but was too afraid to,” Demi said in the BTS making of the video. “I want it to be all about body acceptance, body positivity and just being able to make choices for yourself.”
