JoJo Siwa Reveals How She Asked Kylie Prew To Be Her Girlfriend

JoJo Siwa and girlfriend Kylie Prew really opened up about their relationship on a new podcast!

The young couple were the first season two guests of the 18-year-old entertainer’s mom Jessalynn‘s podcast Success with Jess.

Among the many things they talked about, they opened up about their origin story and the journey to becoming a couple. JoJo even revealed the very JoJo Siwa way that she asked Kylie to be her girlfriend.

“I had a whole musical number. I had like word choreography that coordinated to music and then it went into a song after the word [choreography],” JoJo dished. “It was magical, amazing, anyways… I did like ten run-throughs [beforehand] because I had to get the nerves out.”

They also revealed that Kylie was the one who asked JoJo to be her girlfriend first, and she was the first one to say “I love you.”

Later on, Jess asked Kylie how her life has changed since being with JoJo, and she shared something that happened at school that was a little weird for her.

“My principal pulled me out of class, in the middle of a test, and was like, ‘Kylie, I need to speak to you,’” she said. “Here I am, I’m like, ‘oh my god, what did I do?’ I’ve never been in trouble… So I’m like, okay. I walk out of my class, it’s a timed test so I’m losing time as I’m talking to my principal.”

“She takes me all the way across campus to her office and inside there’s these two massive guards and this tiny little man sitting in a chair,” Kylie continued. “She was like, ‘I got you security and I got you a counselor if you need to talk to someone.’”

After some confusion and curiosity, “She was like, ‘Just in case.’ I was like, ‘Did my mom ask you for this or what?’ and she was like, ‘No, but we heard the news,’ and I was like, ‘I’m good. Can I go back to class?’”

This year, Kylie is a senior in high school, and on the podcast, revealed that she has left her school in Florida and will be homeschooled so she can spend more time with JoJo.
