Young Dylan's Celina Smith Cast as Annie In Upcoming 'Annie Live'

Annie Live has found it’s leading girl!

The upcoming NBC live production has cast actress Celina Smith in the title role of little orphan Annie, after a nationwide search.

At just 12 years old, the young triple threat will take the stage alongside some big A-list names, including Taraji P Henson as Miss Hannigan, Harry Connick Jr. as Daddy Warbucks, Nicole Scherzinger as Grace and Tituss Burgess as Rooster.

Celina is no stranger to the stage as she kicked off her career as Young Nala in the national touring production of The Lion King. She can also be currently seen in the Nickelodeon series Young Dylan!

“It’s an honor to follow in the footsteps of the talented young ladies who have played Annie before me and I can’t wait to start this journey,” Celina shared in a statement.

“Today has been a dream! I can’t believe I’m Annie! I’m so grateful and thankful for this experience. Today is literally a dream!” she added on Instagram.

Annie Live will air on Thursday, December 2nd at 8pm ET/PT on NBC!
