Stranger Things' Priah Ferguson To Star In Marlon Wayans' Upcoming Halloween Film

Priah Ferguson has landed an exciting new role!

The 14-year-old Stranger Things star has been cast in a leading role in Marlon Wayans‘ upcoming Halloween movie for Netflix.

The new film will be an adventure-comedy with the two playing father and daughter, Variety reveals.

Priah will play “a teenage girl who accidentally unleashes an ancient and mischievous spirit on Halloween, causing decorations to come alive and wreak havoc. In order to save the town, she must team up with the last person she’d want to — her skeptical father (Wayans).”

Jeff Wadlow is set to direct, with a script by Rob Rugan, Todd Berger and John R. Morey. Marlon will also produce.

Priah is most well known for playing Erica Sinclair on Stranger Things. She joined the show in season two and was promoted to series regular for the show’s upcoming fourth season, set to debut in 2022.
