Alex Aiono Joins The Cast of 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' as Series Regular!

Alex Aiono is really building up his acting resume!

The 25-year-old singer-turned-actor has just been revealed to be joining the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Deadline announced.

Alex joins as a series regular alongside two more newly announced cast members – Broadway’s Mallory Bechtel and Vikings‘ Eric Johnson.

Also in the cast of the upcoming HBO Max series are of course Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Maia Reficco, Zaria and Malia Pyles.

This will be Alex‘s third big acting project in the last year – He co-starred in the Netflix film Finding ‘Ohana, and he will soon be seen in the upcoming Disney+ series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., which just released the trailer last week!

In PLL: Original Sin, Alex will play Shawn, Noa’s (Reficco) supportive boyfriend and one of the most popular jocks at Millwood High.

“Now I can stop pretending I’m on vacation in upstate NY😝 got a secretttttttt🤫,” Alex shared on Instagram with the news.

Mallory will portray Karen, Millwood High’s reigning queen of mean and an antagonist to the Little Liars.

“SOoo indescribably grateful to be a part of this childhood dream come true. THANK YOU. @writerras @lindsaycbring @davidrapaport,” she wrote on Instagram.

Eric has been cast as Sheriff Beasley, the domineering patriarch of the Beasley family.

Here’s a synopsis: Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own.

Filming on the project is currently in it’s second week in Upstate New York!
