Shawn Mendes Debuts Stripped Down 'Summer of Love' Acoustic Video - Watch!

Shawn Mendes just released a brand new version of his new single “Summer of Love“!

The 23-year-old musician dropped an acoustic music video, where he can be seen playing his guitar and singing on a rooftop.

“Summer of Love acoustic now on youtube 🧡,” he shared on social media.

“I think I was writing from a place of, probably for that the first time since I was 15 getting a real kind of couple of months off, um, Camila and I were just in Miami for a couple of months,” Shawn previously told SiriusXM’s Ron Ross. “And time was kind of stopped and it really just felt like we were like kids again, you know? And it was just a beautiful couple of months just where everything was stopped.”

“We were able to just find ourselves and it was a beautiful kind of time. And that’s what I wrote the song about. And at the same time, I just needed something like this to lift my soul and kind of just lift me up a little bit,” he added.
