OlderEd Sheeran Hits the MTV VMAs Stage For a Performance of His New Song 'Shivers' - Watch the Video!
Ed Sheeran is hitting the stage!
The 30-year-old performer was all smiles during his performance of his new song, “Shivers,” during the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards at Toyota’s Brooklyn Bridge Stage on Sunday night (September 12) in New York City.
Ed kept it casual performance, stepping out in a plain black t-shirt and jeans.
He got a super sweet introduction from his friend Rita Ora, who called him “one of the nicest human beings” she’s ever befriended and worked with.
“Shivers” is the second single off of Ed‘s upcoming album, = (Equals), which is set to be released on October 29.
“= (Equals) is a really personal record and one that means a lot to me,” the performer said in his announcement about the record. “My life changed greatly over the past few years – I got married, became a father, experienced loss, and I reflect on these topics over the course of the album. I see it as my coming-of-age record, and I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.”
