Fans rallied to get Normani a performance spot at the VMAs and she finally got one… and she did not disappoint during the show!

The 25-year-old singer took to the stage near the end of the night to perform her song “Wild Side” at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (September 12) at the Barclays Center in New York City.

The last thirty seconds of the performance are what everyone cannot stop talking about. Teyana Taylor appeared on stage on a bondage board and Normani climbed on to give her a lap dance.

Fans couldn’t help but notice that Normani was paying homage to Janet Jackson‘s performance of “Would You Mind” from her Live in Hawaii performance in 2002. She did the same thing to a fan back then!
