Shawn Mendes Goes Shirtless For Met Gala 2021 With Camila Cabello

The young couple stepped out for the annual event together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (September 13) in New York City.

While Shawn has previously attended the Met Gala, this is actually Camila‘s very first time!

The annual Costume Institute Gala is the fashion world’s equivalent of the Oscars and the event is usually held on the first Monday of May, but it was postponed until September 2021 due to the pandemic. The theme this year is “In America” and there will be a two-part exhibit with the second part debuting at next year’s Met Gala.

The night before, Shawn and Camila performed at the 2021 MTV VMAs back-to-back, with Camila introducing “my guy Shawn Mendes” after her song.
