Jillian Rose Reed Marries Longtime Love Marty Shannon, 'Awkward' Co-Stars In Attendance!

Jillian Rose Reed and her longtime beau Marty Shannon have finally gotten married!!

The couple, who have been together for quite a while, tied the knot on Monday (October 11) at Rimrock Ranch in Pioneertown, Calif.

Jillian and Marty got engaged back in July 2019, and like many others had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic a couple of times.

“I don’t quite have the words yet to describe this weekend. I’m sure there’s going to be 500 posts coming telling you guys every single INSANE detail – but for now enjoy these happy moments that I literally cannot stop replaying ✨,” Jillian captioned a cute video on Instagram. Check it out here!

In attendance at the desert ceremony were many of her Awkward. co-stars, including Molly Tarlov, Brett Davern, Beau Mirchoff, Greer Grammer, Nikki DeLoach, Barret Swatek and Desi Lydic.

Jillian dished on the location of their special day.

“I fell in love with Rimrock the second I saw their website,” she told People. “There really was no other option for me. We toured a few other places but we just fell in love with the open desert, the owners, and the feeling we got when we walked the property.”

The actress wore a Rita Vinieris gown for the wedding. Their first dance was to “Stargazing” by Kygo and Justin Jesso and “Lights” by Ellie Goulding.

“I’m honestly just looking forward to spending my older years with the same person that has held my hand since my youth,” Jillian added about marrying Marty. “I love so many things about him. I love how he is totally unapologetically himself. Yes, I love how he loves me, but what I find really cool about him is that he owns every part of himself. ”
