Chloe Bailey Reveals What Beyoncé Thought of Her VMAs Performance

Chloe Bailey is opening up about her first MTV VMAs performance as a solo artist!

The 23-year-old singer and actress performed her debut solo single “Have Mercy” back in September, and she just revealed what her mentor Beyoncé thought.

“It just warmed my heart to hear from her during that time and to just know I had her support and her love,” Chloe shared on The Dotty Show on Apple Music 1. “She’s the queen of everything, the way she performs, the way her presence is on stage. She’s incredible and I’ve always looked up to her.”

If you didn’t know, Beyoncé discovered Chloe and her sister Halle and has not only been a mentor to them, but she also signed them to her Parkwood Entertainment.

“Beyoncé inspires me so, so much. I truly, truly love her and because of her I am here today and people are watching me. I remember I was five years old in the stands watching her perform along with Missy Elliott and Alicia Keys, but I just remember seeing her and I’m like, that’s what I want to do,” Chloe told The Dotty Show.

“So, without her I would not be here. She has inspired me. My family inspires me. My god-mum inspires me. There’s just so many incredible women in my life that remind me daily how I am special and how I should never settle for less,” she added.
