Peyton Elizabeth Lee & Alex Aiono Celebrate 'Doogie Kamealoha' Season 1 Finale

The first season of Doogie Kamealoha, MD has just come to an end.

The reboot series on Disney+ stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee in the title role, along with Jason Scott Lee and Kathleen Perkins as her parents, Matt Sato and Wes Tian as her brothers, Emma Meisel as her BFF, plus Alex Aiono, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Ronny Chieng and Mapuana Makia.

If you’ve been watching, then you know that Peyton and Alex‘s characters became boyfriend and girlfriend on the show.

The two took to Instagram to share their thanks and celebrate the release of the season one finale.

“Episode 10 of Doogie Kamealoha M.D. is now out, completing an amazing season. In a world of madness, drama, negativity, and division, it’s such a privilege to be apart of a show that is a positive breath of fresh air☺️ So much aloha for all of the cast and crew who worked day in and day out to make this show happen❤️ STREAM DKMD SEASON 1 ON DISNEY PLUS BABYYYY!!!” Alex wrote.

In the season finale, “Aloha – The Goodbye One,” Lahela (Lee) is hired as a medic on Walter’s (Aiono) surf tour in Australia, and the Chief of Staff is announced.

Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, who played one of Doogie’s co-workers Charles Zeller, also shared a message on his Instagram.

As of the time of this post, Doogie Kamealoha, MD has not yet been renewed for a second season.
