Griffin Johnson To Star In New Movie With Samantha Boscarino - Get the Details!

Griffin Johnson is the latest TikTok star to land a lead role in a movie!

The 22-year-old has been cast in Diamond In The Rough, opposite Samantha Boscarino, Variety reveals.

Creator Plus, a movie studio centered on digital creators and influencers, are producing the pic, which is set to begin filming this week in Los Angeles.

Here’s a synopsis: Ariana Alvarez (Boscarino) is lost after the death of her parents and can’t hold down a job. To help her navigate post-college life, her doting Tío Jorge gets her a seasonal membership at his swanky country club and challenges her to make some friends. But Ariana soon learns that life among the wealthy and golf-obsessed is a lot like being back in high school: cliques abound, mean girls are everywhere and only the richest kids get to call the shots. Will the country club change Ariana — or will it be the other way around?

Also cast in the movie are David Koechner, Rizwan Manji, Caitlin Carver, Natasha Behnam, Essence Stiggers, Kirstin Leigh, Carolyn Hennesy, Wayne Wilderson, Andy Cohen (not the WWHL host), Pat Finn and Carlos Lacamara.

Earlier in the week, Griffin teased the announcement on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself with Samantha, writing, “up to something.. 🎥”
