Jennifer Lawrence Had a Fangirl Moment With Ariana Grande On 'Don't Look Up' Set
Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about working with Ariana Grande on the upcoming Don’t Look Up!
While the 28-year-old pop star has a “tiny” role in the film, the two do share at least one scene together, as teased in the trailer that was just released.
Jennifer opened up about her fangirl moment over Ariana on set during a Q&A on Thursday (November 18).
See what she did inside…
“She can’t make bad music. I’ve since reflected on my behavior with Ariana Grande. I went full radio contest winner. I was so excited and nervous that at one point, I just kind of walked into her hotel room and sat down,” Jennifer said, via Variety. “I’ve just been thinking about it a lot lately. There were all of these trunks for her hair and makeup, and I was like, ‘Do you live here?’”
Director Adam McKay then joked, “She didn’t like you.”
He also dished on Ariana‘s new song for the movie, “Just Look Up,” which was co-written by her, Kid Cudi and Tara Stinson.
“You have to write the song to save all of mankind,” he said. “It might be my favorite moment in the movie. The No. 1 pop star in the world telling us, ‘We’re all going to die, get your head out of your a–.’”
