Nickelodeon Forms New Girl Group Good NEWZ Girls, Drops Debut EP 'Winter Getaway'

Nickelodeon has announced their brand new girl group called Good NEWZ Girls!

The group was revealed on Friday morning (November 19), in collaboration with Ty Ty and Jay Brown Productions.

Mikaela Astel, 17, Nayah Damasen, 17, Isabel Gonzalez, 16, and Baylee Morrison, 17, are the four teens who make up the girl group.

The Good NEWZ Girls also just dropped their debut EP, the holiday-themed Winter Getaway, which consists of six tracks.

You may recognize Mikaela from competing on season 16 of The Voice. Nayah is currently filming the upcoming live action Monster High movie musical.

In addition, the music video for their rendition of “Let It Snow” was just released, and on Monday, November 29th, their second video, for “Hoilday Gift,” will debut on AwesomenessTV’s YouTube channel, and will include appearances from Larray, Mads Lewis and Kelianne Stankus.
