Dove Cameron Reacts to 'Schmigadoon!' Grammys 2022 Nomination!

Dove Cameron has a Grammy award nomination to celebrate!

The 25-year-old actress and singer’s show Schmigadoon! just earned a nomination for the 2022 Grammys.

The 2022 Grammy nominations were just announced on Tuesday (November 22) and the show was nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media for the first episode of the Apple TV+ musical series.

Dove just took to Twitter to react to the news.

“i,” she simply wrote, along with a quote tweet from her label.

In another tweet, Dove appeared speechless when a fan said, “you’re literally an emmy winner and a grammy nominee”

According to Billboard, for this award, it goes to “the artist(s) and/or ‘in studio’ producer(s) of a majority of the tracks on the album. In the absence of both, award to the one or two individuals proactively responsible for the concept and musical direction of the album and for the selection of artists, songs and producers, as applicable. Award also goes to appropriately credited music supervisor(s).”

Though the artist on the nomination is listed as “Various Artists,” it’s currently unclear who would pick up the award if the Schmigadoon! soundtrack were to win.
