Olivia Rodrigo Reacts to Her First Ever Grammy Nominations, 7 Total!

Olivia Rodrigo is celebrating her first Grammy Awards nominations!!

The 18-year-old actress and singer was just nominated for a total of seven awards at the upcoming 2022 Grammys ceremony.

For this being her first album and her first nominations, she’s up for all four of the biggest awards of the night!

Olivia is up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video.

Hours after the nominations were announced, Olivia finally shared her reaction with fans.

“woke up this morning to 7 Grammy nominations. when I was younger, my family lived a few blocks from the staples center, where the Grammys took place every year,” Olivia wrote on Instagram. I would always walk outside the arena and look at the plaques on the ground with all the winners names in wide eyed wonder. i went to the Grammy museum so many of my free weekends bc I was so fascinated by the history of the show and all of the incredible musicians that made it up.”

“many dreams have come true for me this year but this one is probably the most meaningful. thank you to everyone who has believed in me and supported the songs I write. and thank you to @recordingacademy for the recognition. I’m beyond humbled. truly a day I will never forget. so grateful aghhh❤️💜❤️💜,” she added.

Olivia has already racked up several award wins at multiple shows this year, including the most recent American Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, MTV EMAs, MTV VMAs and the LOS40 Music Awards. She is also up for several People’s Choice Awards, which take place on December 7th.
