OlderMonique Coleman Talks Reuniting with Corbin Bleu For 'A Christmas Dance Reunion'
Monique Coleman is opening up about reuniting with Corbin Bleu for their new Christmas movie!
The two previously starred as Taylor McKessie and Chad Danforth in the High School Musical movies, and now they’re starring in A Christmas Dance Reunion on Lifetime.
In a new interview, the actress, talk show host and activist opened up about what it was like getting back together with Corbin.

“I was really excited about it and then when I saw that Corbin was already attached to the project, it was the fastest I’d ever said yes to anything in my life,” Monique told People. “I was very fortunate that it is such an amazing story and it really suits us so well.”
“I forgot how utterly just talented and delicious he is,” she added. “I obviously have seen him in shows and we’re friends, but I forgot what it was like to work with someone who has such an incredible work ethic, who shows up and gives 110 percent every single time, every single take, whether he’s on screen or not. He’s such a generous actor and really cares.”
Monique also dished that she hopes they are able to do more projects together!
“I honestly pray that we get to do more things together because we have that sort of spark that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan had, and Leo and Kate, and Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and all of these different couples that we’ve seen in movie after movie together. I really feel like we have that potential as well and I’d like to see that happen,” she shared.
“[A sequel] would be so much fun and the film kind of leaves that opening for there to be a sequel,” Monique teased. “I would also love to do a series with Corbin. It would be really neat for us to get to just do this for a period of time.”
