What Happened To Dylan Sprouse's Return to TV In An HBO Max Series?

Wasn’t Dylan Sprouse supposed to make his return to television?!

The 29-year-old was cast in a new HBO Max series almost a year ago, in December 2020, but now the series has premiered and he is nowhere in sight.

Find out more inside…

If you didn’t know, Dylan was originally supposed to co-star in the series The Sex Lives of College Girls on the streaming service, which would have been his first TV role since The Suite Life On Deck on Disney Channel.

When it was first announced, he was set to play Nico, a junior at Essex who interacts with the four main stars (Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Renee Rapp anad Alyah Chanelle Scott).

However, a few months later, it was announced that another actor has been cast in the role of Nico, who is the older brother to Renee Rapp‘s Leighton – Gavin Leatherwood!

Dylan previously shared that he was excited to join the series. No word on why he was no longer a part of the show.

Now, The Sex Lives of College Girls currently has eight episode available to stream on HBO Max, with the last two episodes of the season premiering THIS Thursday (December 9).

It was also just announced that the show has been picked up for a second season!

Dylan fans can still look forward to seeing him on screen – he has two movies in the works, My Fake Boyfriend and Beautiful Disaster.
