Billie Eilish & Finneas Dish On What It Was Like Writing Songs for Disney Pixar's 'Turning Red'

Billie Eilish and Finneas are opening up about writing music for the upcoming Disney Pixar movie Turning Red!

If you didn’t know, the siblings wrote three songs for the film, which are sung by a fictional boy band, which Finneas is a part of, along with these stars.

Recently, Billie and Finneas shared what it was like making music for the movie.

“That was so fun, man. I’m so excited that that got announced because that’s been our little secret. We made the songs during the pandemic,” Finneas told THR. “That was such a fun process.”

Billie added, “Yeah, we saw the storyboard of the movie in the beginning of 2020, maybe end of 2019.”

“And the director is really so talented — her name is Domee Shi,” Finneas shared. “She’s incredible, and it was just a really cool process the whole time.”
