Sofia Carson debuts the next chapter of her story with her latest single “Loud“!

The 28-year-old singer and actress dropped the new song on Friday (January 14), along with the accompanying music video.

“LOUD is OUT NOW🦋 From the bottom of my heart, this song is dedicated to YOU. The women of the world and all the LOUD voices of change. Because we were all: #MadeToBeLOUD,” Sofia shared on Instagram upon it’s release.

In the music video, it uses a butterfly as a metaphor and tells the story of a silenced voice breaking free, louder than ever.

“Loud” continues to tell a story that Sofia has been teasing.

“It’s about telling my honest, genuine truth and then hoping that when you hear it, or when my sister hears it, or when a girl in some corner of the world hears it, that she hears her truth in it in some way, or it almost feels like you’re singing about her. I think that’s the beauty of it,” she previously said on the Spout podcast about songwriting.
