Angourie Rice & Gaten Matarazzo To Star In 'Honor Society' Movie From Awesomeness

Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo have been cast as leads in the upcoming movie Honor Society!

The film comes from Awesomeness and production has already been started on the comedy, according to Deadline.

Also starring as a lead is Christopher Mintz-Plasse, plus Amy Keum and Armani Jackson round out the cast.

Honor Society “tells the story of Honor (Rice), an ambitious high school senior whose sole focus is getting into Harvard, assuming she can first score the coveted recommendation from her guidance counselor, Mr. Calvin (Mintz-Plasse). Willing to do whatever it takes, Honor concocts a Machiavellian-like plan to take down her top three student competitors, until things take a turn when she unexpectedly falls for her biggest competition, Michael (Matarazzo).”

Filming is underway in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a late 2022 release on Paramount+ is planned.
