Ariana DeBose is reacting to her two big nominations this week for the upcoming 2022 BAFTAs!

The 31-year-old West Side Story actress is being recognized for her work in the movie musical.

Ariana was nominated earlier this week for the BAFTAs Rising Star Award, which recognizes rising “exceptional talent in film over the past year.”

She also just got nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Anita in the film.

“Wow! Thank you so much to BAFTA for this incredible honor and for all of the love and acknowledgement today for our beautiful film. I’m genuinely blown away,” Ariana shared on Instagram. “The EE Rising Star nomination was astounding, and to also be recognized in the Supporting Actress category among actors of such diverse talents and backgrounds, is equally thrilling.”

She added, “I’m very grateful to @bafta and to Steven for allowing me to be his Anita, as well as Kristie, Cindy and the entire crew and creative team. ❤️”

Ariana received lots of love in the comments, including from co-stars Rachel Zegler (“❤️”), Paloma Garcia Lee (“Forever smiling. So deserved. So so deserved.”) and Ilda Mason (“Felicidades infinitas!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”), as well as support from the Broadway community and her The Prom co-star Jo Ellen Pellman, who said, “congratulations!!!!!! 💘💘💘💘💘”

Ariana’s co-star Mike Faist was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor, while WSS also received noms for Casting, Production Design and Sound.
