Older7 Time Oscar Nominated 'West Side Story' Finally Gets Disney+ Premiere Date!
The Oscar-nominated Best Picture film West Side Story is finally coming out on streaming!
The movie musical, starring Rachel Zegler, Ansel Elgort, Mike Faist, Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez and more, will soon be available on Disney+.

The new adaptation tells the classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City, and is directed by Steven Spielberg.
West Side Story comes to Disney+ in the US and most international countries on March 2nd. It will launch in Taiwan on March 9th and in Japan on March 30th.
Just this week, the film received seven 2022 Oscars nominations, including nods for Best Directing, Best Picture, Costume Design, Sound, Production Design and Cinematography.
Ariana DeBose, who plays Anita, received the movie’s sole acting nomination for Best Supporting Actress. This is her first Oscar nomination and the first time an Afro Latina actor has been nominated. She’s also the first openly queer woman of color to be nominated! See how she reacted!
This is also marking Steven‘s seventh Best Director nomination. If he wins, he will have won three times in that category.
