Isabel May Admits She Didn't Know Who Her '1883' Co-Stars Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Were

Isabel May is opening up about her super famous 1883 co-stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

If you didn’t know, the 21-year-old Alexa & Katie actress plays the country superstar couple’s daughter in the new Paramount+ series.

However, in a new interview, Isabel revealed she didn’t know who they were.

While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly asked, “What was it like having Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as parents in a show? That’s crazy.”

“Yeah… kind of incredible. I mean, Tim knows this already, so this isn’t a big shock to him, but I didn’t know who they were,” Isabel admitted. “I didn’t know that they were big…”

Isabel then said she hides away and is “a bit of a hermit.” She added that she is “very excited” to catch up on their music, but it was also nice not knowing they were huge stars already.

“To me, I just got to get to know them as just human. They’re just, you know, human beings. There was a blank slate and my goodness, are they just the loveliest people I think I’ve ever met,” she continued. “I immediately fell in love with them and it was so genuine.”

“Faith Hill is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life. And she’s a goofball,” Isabel said. “She makes animal noises, weird animal noises. She’s so gifted at it too. Okay, I’ll stop there. I don’t want everybody to know that.”
