Older'Grown-ish' Renewed For Season 5 at Freeform, Marcus Scribner Joins The Cast!
We are so excited to share the news that Freeform‘s hit series grown-ish has just been renewed for a fifth season!!!
In addition to this exciting pickup, it was also revealed that Marcus Scribner is joining the cast full time, according to Variety.
Marcus will of course be reprising his role of Andre Johnson Jr. from black-ish, as his character “embarks on his own journey to being ‘grown.’”

grown-ish will also be getting a pair of new showrunners in Zakiyyah Alexander and black-ish executive producer and showrunner Courtney Lilly.
The Freeform series is currently airing it’s fourth season on Thursday nights, with the season finale set for March 24th.
grown-ish, of course, stars Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Trevor Jackson as Aaron Jackson, Jordan Buhat as Vivek Shah, Emily Arlook as Nomi Segal, Francia Raisa as Ana Torres, Chloe Bailey as Jazz Forster, Halle Bailey as Sky Forster, Luka Sabbat as Luca Hall and Diggy Simmons as Doug.
No word yet if Halle will be returning to the show.
