'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' Announces 3 New Characters for Season 3

There are three more new characters coming to High School Musical: The Musical: The Series!!

The series’ official Instagram page shared the casting announcement of the three actors who will be portraying the new characters.

Those joining the cast as recurring guest stars are Aria Brooks, who just recently worked with HSMTMTS showrunner Tim Federle and star Joshua Bassett on the upcoming Disney+ movie Better Nate Than Ever, as well as Ben Stillwell and Liamani Segura.

Aria has been cast as Alex, a sharp and smart eighth grader and brand-new Camp Shallow Lake camper.

Ben will play Channing, cameraman for the docu-series about Camp Shallow Lake’s theatrical production of Frozen.

Liamani will be Emmy, a wide-eyed eighth grader and first-time auditioner at Camp Shallow Lake.

HSMTMTS season three is currently in production in Los Angeles and is set at Camp Shallow Lake, a family-owned sleepaway camp in California, as the Wildcats and their fellow campers stage a high-stakes production of Frozen and determine who is “best in snow.”
