The first look teaser for the upcoming series adaptation Heartstopper is here!

The new Netflix show is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman, who also created and wrote the series.

Here’s a synopsis: When gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.

The series will consist of eight, 30 minute episodes and stars Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan and Rhea Norwood.

Heartstopper will launch on Netflix on April 22nd.
