Liam Payne Says He & Fiancée Maya Henry Are 'Stronger' After Spending the COVID-19 Pandemic Together

The 28-year-old One Direction musician wore a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants for the outing, while Maya paired a black and green printed set with a dark orange trench coat.

The couple were also seen attending the Taste the Future Luncheon at the Four Seasons together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills earlier that day, where Liam spoke with People about their relationship.

“She’s still my fiancée,” he told the outlet. “We’re still here together, and we’re very, very happy at the moment. Probably the happiest we’ve been.”

“I think we went through a lot in COVID,” the “Strip That Down” singer continued. “I feel like we’ve come out the other side of it a bit stronger.”

He went on to note that as a “couple that’s gone through COVID together,” and that most of their time in quarantine was spent together. “Most couples who have been married for years struggled, right?” he said. “So, I mean, we’re still really happy to be here together today.”

Liam and Maya were first linked in 2018 and confirmed their romance in September 2019. A year later, it was announced that Liam had proposed to Maya. In June of last year it was reported that they had broken up, but a few months they rekindled their romance.
