In addition to receiving the honorary degree, Taylor will also deliver a speech at the ceremony being held at Yankee Stadium on May 18th.

Variety reports that there will be three ceremonies that day, including a “double-header” in the evening for the 220 and 2021 classes. Taylor will be a part of a traditional ceremony in the morning.

Earlier this year it was revealed that a Taylor Swift course launched at NYU, taught by Rolling Stone‘s Brittany Spanos. The class covered “Swift’s evolution as a creative music entrepreneur, the legacy of pop and country songwriters, discourses of youth and girlhood, and the politics of race in contemporary popular music,” according to Variety.
