Evie MacDonald Returns For 'First Day' Season 2 on Hulu, Premieres This Week!

The second season of First Day is premiering on a special day this week!
The series stars Evie MacDonald, and the new season is premiering on Hulu on Thursday (March 31), which is International Transgender Day of Visibility.
Evie is actually the first transgender actor to play a lead role in an Australian scripted television series.

Here’s a synopsis: In her second year at Hillview, Hannah’s run for Class Captain exposes an underlying level of transphobia among her classmates. She starts a group for LGBTQIA+ students but risks alienating her closest friends in the process.
First Day was written, directed and co-produced by Julie Kalceff.
Elena Liu, Nandini Rajagopal, Jackson Evans and Jo Hunt also star.

The first season actually won an International Emmy Kids Award for Best Live Action Series and a GLAAD Media Award (Children and Youth) which honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBTQIA+ community.
