Here’s a synopsis: Based on a true story, The Staircase explores the life of Michael Peterson, his sprawling North Carolina family, and the suspicious death of his wife, Kathleen Peterson.
Also starring in the series are Colin Firth as Michael, Toni Collette as Kathleen, plus Michael Stuhlbarg, Juliette Binoche, Dane DeHaan, Olivia DeJonge, Rosemarie DeWitt, Tim Guinee, Vincent Vermignon, Odessa Young and Parker Posey.
The Staircase will debut on Thursday, May 5th, with three episodes, followed by new episodes weekly through June 9th.
