Sparks are flying in the just released trailer for the upcoming Netflix series Heartstopper!

Kit Connor and Joe Locke are starring in the new show, which is based on the graphic novels by Alice Oseman.

Here’s a synopsis: When gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.

The series will consist of eight, 30 minute episodes and also stars Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan and Rhea Norwood.

Heartstopper premieres on Netflix NEXT Friday, April 22nd.
