Disneyland's World of Color Adds Virtual Queue When It Returns Next Week!

The World of Color nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Resort‘s California Adventure park is returning next week!

The dancing fountains show, which takes place on Paradise Bay by Pixar Pier, will make it’s grand return on Friday, April 22nd, after being gone for years due to the pandemic.

When the show comes back though, Disneyland will be adding a virtual queue system that will help with park goers getting a spot to view the show.

The queue will only be available on the Disneyland app, with distribution times beginning enrollment at noon daily.

In order to enroll, guests will have to have a valid one park ticket or a park hopper ticket and must be in either park before noon. If the queue fills up, there will be additional viewing opportunities if you visit the viewing area at Paradise Bay 30-45 minutes before the showtime.

If you did get into the virtual queue, you will get a notification through the Disneyland app instructing you to enter through one of the two marked entrance points, either blue or yellow.

While the virtual queue for World of Color is not required, it is highly recommended. It should also be known that joining the virtual queue does not guarantee you a viewing spot. There will be additional viewing for each performance around Paradise Bay on a first come, first served basis.

World of Color showtimes are 9pm and 10:15pm.

For more information on the virtual queue, you can head to Disneyland.com!

If you missed it, find out when the other nighttime spectaculars are returning, including the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Disneyland Forever fireworks show.
