The CW Cancels 'Batwoman' After 3 Seasons, Showrunner Confirms

Sad news was just revealed for fans of The CW’s Batwoman!

Showrunner Caroline Dries took to Twitter on Friday afternoon (April 29) to share that the series has been canceled by the network.

“Just got the sad news that #Batwoman will not be seeing an S4. I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series. Thank you producers, cast and crew. Thank you, fans! We love you. ❤️,” Caroline wrote.

Batwoman ran for three seasons, initially starring Ruby Rose as the titular character in season one, followed by Javicia Leslie taking over in the next two seasons.

Also starring were Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Victoria Cartagena, Robin Givens, and Nick Creegan.

Quite a few CW shows have already been renewed, but there are still others whose status is up in the air, like Charmed, All American: Homecoming, Dynasty and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
