Sophie Turner Opens Up About Growing Her Family with Hubby Joe Jonas!

Sophie Turner is ready to start talking about her second pregnancy!

The 26-year-old The Staircase actress has not been hiding her baby bump, but didn’t really start to accentuate and show it off publicly until the 2022 Met Gala.

In a new cover interview for Elle UK‘s June 2022 issue, Sophie opened up about growing her family with Joe Jonas, and spoke about expecting baby No 2.

“It’s what life is about for me – raising the next generation. The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength,” she told the mag of motherhood. “We’re so excited to be expanding the family. It’s the best blessing ever.”

Sophie also talked about feeling protective of her family.

“I’m very protective of the life we’ve built. Every time Joe and I do a red carpet together, we make sure it’s for the right reason and makes sense for our careers,” she shared. “You never want to market yourself as a celebrity couple. It’s not that cool.”

“And my daughter never asked for any of this. I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, and to be photographed every day and have the comments,” Sophie continued. “It’s not something I want her to deal with unless she says, ‘This is what I want to do.’ We’re quite strict about that.”

Speaking of privacy and protecting her family, Sophie has been very vocal in the past about the paparazzi taking photos of her daughter Willa, and why they are not sharing pics of her online.

Sophie is of course from England, and has thought about moving back, for a few reasons.

“I miss England so much. The people, the attitude, everything. I’m slowly dragging my husband back. I really love living in America but, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family,” she told Elle UK. “And also for my daughter – I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have. England would ideally be the final destination, but [Joe] might take quite a bit of convincing! My parent’s house is the epitome of the English countryside – horses, sheep, cows…”
