Ariel Winter's 'Hungry' Pilot Is No Longer Moving Forward at NBC

Ariel Winter will no longer be starring in the NBC comedy series Hungry.

It was just revealed on Thursday (May 12) that the network has decided not to move forward with the series, according to Variety.

If you remember, the former Modern Family star replaced Demi Lovato in the lead role of Teddy when they exited due to scheduling reasons.

Hungry was a multi-cam comedy that was to follow “a group of friends who belong to a food-issues group helping one another as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that’s going to make it all better.”

Also set to star were Valerie Bertinelli as Teddy’s mom, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Ryan McPartlin, Alex Brightman and Ashley D. Kelley, with Demi still on as executive producer.
