OlderDisney Reveals ALL Profits From It's Pride Collection Will Be Donated To Several Organizations
Disney is making an announcement about it’s pride collection this year!
The Walt Disney Company will be donating all of it’s profits from the collection to quite a few LGBTQ+ organizations.
The Disney Pride Collection was created by LGBTQ+ employees and allies at the company, and “is a reflection of their incredible contributions and place at the heart of the company.”

In the US, all of the profits from the collection, from now until June 30th, will be donated to GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Zebra Coalition, Los Angeles LGBT Center, LGBT Center Orange County, San Francisco LGBT Center and Ali Forney Center. Profits from other regions around the world will be donated to local charities.
This includes pride merch from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars.

In addition, they will also unveil additional pieces in the near future.
There will also be quite a few ways to celebrate pride in the parks, “from entertainment and art displays to festive décor, Disney PhotoPass Service photo opportunities, and themed food and beverage offerings. We’ll also be highlighting inspirational and celebratory stories about our guests, cast and community on the Disney Parks Blog and across our social media channels.”
This news comes after the recent controversy surrounding Disney’s response to the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida, which they then spoke out against and vowed to help repeal.
Following Disney’s opposition to the bill, Florida then moved to remove Disney’s special district, the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
The company also plans to donate $5 million to organizations working to protect LGBTQ+ rights, including the Human Rights Campaign, who denied a donation to them.
