Universal Studios Reveals New Haunted Houses For Halloween Horror Nights 2022

Universal Studios is teasing their upcoming annual Halloween Horror Nights!

The theme park, located in both California and Florida, will take on a new horror movie theme for 2022.

This year, they are teaming up for a “double dose of terror” inspired by “The Horrors of Blumhouse”!

Get the details inside…

Universal Studios is bringing to life haunted houses based on Blumhouse’s upcoming thriller The Black Phone and the horror comedy Freaky.

According to a press release, “‘The Horrors of Blumhouse’ will transport guests into an alternate dimension where the scares are real and the stakes are life or death.”

In The Black Phone, “The Grabber” is a demented magician best known for his sinister trick of making people disappear – permanently, and guests will find themselves trapped in his “fun” house where the sound of ghostly voices whisper hints on how to escape, but guests must tread carefully to outwit and outrun “The Grabber’s” twisted magic.

In the Freaky house, guests will be challenged “to outrun serial killer ‘The Butcher’ who has switched bodies with a high school girl after being cursed by The La Dola Dagger, an ancient Aztec blade. Guests will learn firsthand that looks can be deceiving as they encounter the sweet-looking teen who is actually ‘The Butcher’ – and she is determined to hunt for their next victims.”

Halloween Horror Nights will begin on September 2nd at Universal Studios Orlando, and on September 8th at Universal Studios Hollywood.
