Disney Officials Investigating After Disneyland Instagram Hacked

Disney fans and cast members woke up to some jarring posts on the Disneyland Instagram account on Thursday morning (July 7).

The theme park’s social media account was hacked, with four posts containing racial slurs and expletives plaguing the feed.

Disneyland Resort officials responded to the morning’s hack and are conducting an investigation into the incident.

“Disneyland Resort’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were compromised early this morning. We worked quickly to remove the reprehensible content, secure our accounts, and our security teams are conducting an investigation,” Disneyland officials said in a statement, via CBS Los Angeles.

In case you missed it, just last week Disneyland shared some news about the upcoming Princess and the Frog overhaul of Splash Mountain, including when it will open!
