Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine couple up in the trailer for their new movie Purple Hearts!

The two play Cassie, a struggling singer-songwriter, and Luke, a troubled marine, who despite their differences, agree to marry solely for military benefits. But when tragedy strikes, the line between real and pretend begins to blur.

In addition to starring in the movie, Sofia also worked as an executive producer on the project, and she wrote and recorded original music for the movie.

Purple Hearts is based on the novel of the same name by Tess Wakefield and also stars Chosen Jacobs, Kat Cunning, Linden Ashby, Anthony Ippolito, John Harlan Kim, Sarah Rich and Scott Deckert.

Directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, the movie will be released July 29th on Netflix, and the soundtrack will be out that same day!
