Laura Marano Postpones Tour Dates After Testing Positive for COVID

Laura Marano shared some news with fans on Wednesday (July 27).

The 26-year-old actress and singer has tested positive for COVID-19, causing her to postpone some shows on her current The Us Tour.

“I am so, so sorry 😔 but I promise I’m going to make it up to you!!” she wrote on Twitter.

Laura was scheduled to perform in Minneapolis that night, but has to cancel. She is looking to hopefully reschedule the postponed dates for later in August after the remainder of her tour.

“Sooo, I have some not so great news 😔 I was feeling a little off last night, and I thought maybe I was just a little tired, but I thought I should take a test this morning just in case,” she shared.

“Unfortunately, I tested positive for Covid 😔 which means, I’m going to have to reschedule a few of the upcoming dates including tonight’s how in Minneapolis,” Laura continued. “I truly am so sad, and I promise I’m going to make it up to all of you!!!”

She then warned fans who attended her recent shows in Chicago or Milwaukee, that they should probably test and monitor symptoms just in case.

The night before, Laura tweeted about the love she has been receiving while on this tour.

“I literally love you all so much 😫😫😫 Like, I honestly can’t comprehend what I did to deserve all of you…” she wrote, adding, “Like, the love I’ve been getting every single night is so overwhelming in the best way possible, and I’m just so thankful 😫 thank you, thank you, thank you…okay I’m gonna go cry now 😫😫❤️❤️❤️”
