What Is Olivia Rodrigo's Nini Salazar-Roberts Doing In 'High School Musical' Series Season 3? Find Out!

Olivia Rodrigo‘s involvement and character’s storyline in the new third season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season three has been unveiled.

It was previously revealed that the 19-year-old entertainer has moved from a series regular to a recurring guest star in the new episodes of the Disney+ musical show.

Earlier this month, it was also hinted at that this would be Olivia‘s final season on the show.

Now, with the new season out, we’re learning more about what Nini Salazar-Roberts is up to!

In the first episode of the season, it’s revealed that Nini is not going to Camp Shallow Lake like some of her classmates, but she is instead going to Southern California with her moms.

Nini shares that that is where her moms met, and it’s where she was born.

“Honestly, it just feels like these last few years have been leading up to something really good or big,” she says to Miss Jenn, which reflects her real life as well.

“I’m missing camp for this, and it’s a camp I’ve had so many memories at. And, look, my moms gave me the choice and I made it. I guess I’m just not sure I made the right one.”

While in SoCal, it’s presumed that Nini will work with Gina’s brother, as he offered to work on music with her.
