Jesy Nelson Parts Ways with Record Label After 1 Single Release

Jesy Nelson is leaving her record label after a little over a year.

Back in May 2021, the 31-year-old singer announced she signed a solo record deal with Polydor records, and now, it is being revealed that they are partying ways.

This news also comes about nine months after she released her first solo single “Boyz,” which features Nicki Minaj.

Jesy Nelson feels now is the right for her to move in a new direction. As a result, she has decided to part company with Polydor,” a spokesperson for the singer confirmed to The Sun.

Jesy decided it was the right time for her to make a clean break. She and the label have been going in different directions in recent months. And while there hasn’t been a fall-out, Jesy just felt it was better to start afresh now – while everyone was still friends,” a source shared.

Jesy has been working on new music in Los Angeles throughout 2022.
