'Moonshot,' 'The Witches' & More Movies Quietly Removed From HBO Max

HBO Max is continuing to turn heads after it was also revealed the streaming service quietly dropped a handful of movies.

The streaming service removed a few Max Original movies, or films specifically released only on HBO Max, in what seems like a cost-cutting move by parent company Warner Bros Discovery, Variety reports.

Among those wiped from the streamer include Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse‘s Moonshot, and Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer‘s The Witches remake.

Along with Superintelligence, An American Pickle, Locked Down and Charm City Kings, the removal of the films was noted in a Reddit forum discussing the cancelation of the Batgirl movie. The movies are all available to rent or purchase on digital retailers like Prime Video, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV and Vudu.

The upcoming House Party reboot was also reportedly wiped from the release schedule.

More major announcements are expected on Thursday (August 4) during the Warner Bros Discovery quarter two report.
